Singer Thanh Hai of Nghe An Traditional Arts Center was honored as a typical artist.
Artist Thanh Hai of Nghe An Province Traditional Arts Center has just been honored as a typical artist by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Artist Nguyen Thanh Hai of the Provincial Traditional Arts Center is the only artist from Nghe An to be honored this time. Thanh Hai won a gold medal at the 2024 National Music and Dance Festival with the work “Flying in the Lam River” composed by Pham Phuong Thao.
Nguyen Thanh Hai joined the Provincial Traditional Music and Dance Troupe in 2000 and is currently the lead singer of the Provincial Traditional Arts Center. Thanh Hai has a deep, husky Anto soprano voice, suitable for lyrical songs or songs with the Ca Tru style.
She was a finalist in the Sao Mai TV ranking in 2005; won many medals in the National Music and Dance Festival competitions. Among them, there were 2 Silver Medals for solo singing, 1 Silver Medal for trio performance, 1 Silver Medal for duet performance, and 1 Excellent Award at the Vietnam Musicians Association Music Festival in the North Central region in 2012.
Thanh Hai said: "I am truly honored to be honored as a national representative artist this time. This is a worthy reward for my efforts, but this result is also thanks to the encouragement and support of the Provincial Traditional Arts Center. The performance that won the Gold Medal at the 2024 National Music and Dance Festival can also be called a stroke of luck when I came across Pham Phuong Thao's new song that suits my voice, from which I had a sublime performance, recognized by the program's Organizing Committee and loved by the audience."
The program honoring outstanding artists of the year organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism honors outstanding artists and actors who won Gold Medals and First Prizes at national and international professional art competitions and festivals organized by the Department of Performing Arts (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in coordination with relevant agencies and units in the past year, such as: National Drama Festival 2024, International Dance Festival 2024, National Music and Dance Festival 2024, National Cai Luong Festival 2024.
