“Jazz has always been a great source of inspiration and has accompanied me throughout my career,” said Tung Duong. From jazz, the male singer has exploited and combined other musical genres with a wider range, but no matter how the music is mixed and developed, jazz is always the mainstay of his music. Tung Duong said that he wanted to introduce the cultural identity and contemporary music of Vietnam when accepting the invitation to participate in this festival.
The three songs Feeling good by Nina Simon, Chiec Khan Pieu (Doan Nho) and Con Tam (Sa Huynh) were chosen by the singer to perform at the festival.
Along with participating in the music festival in Thailand, Tung Duong's upcoming plans this year are to release album vol2 with musician Giang Son in jazz style, an album with young musician Sa Huynh and a big show with divas next August.
