"Jazz music has always been a great source of inspiration and has accompanied me throughout my career," Tung Duong said. From jazz, the male singer has explored and combined other musical genres with a wider range, but no matter how the music is blended and developed, jazz always remains the main focus in his music. Tung Duong stated that he wanted to showcase the cultural identity and contemporary music of Vietnam when he accepted the invitation to participate in this festival.
The singer chose to perform three songs at the festival: "Feeling Good" by Nina Simon, "Chiếc khăn Piêu" (Doãn Nho), and "Con Tằm" (Sa Huỳnh).
Along with participating in a music festival in Thailand, Tung Duong's upcoming plans for this year include releasing his second album by composer Giang Son in a jazz style, an album with young composer Sa Huynh, and a major show with divas in August.
