Although she has settled in the US, Ha Phuong still follows the Covid-19 epidemic situation in the country. Images of the difficult and miserable circumstances of people in Ho Chi Minh City due to the epidemic haunted her and she told herself that she had to do something to support people to overcome this period.
Unable to return to Vietnam, the billionaire singer asked her mother and friends to connect and support her in sending necessities to people in some areas of Ho Chi Minh City.
Ha Phuong prioritizes disadvantaged households such as motorbike taxi drivers, lottery ticket sellers... who have no income during the epidemic season. Households on Ly Thai To Street (District 10, Ho Chi Minh City), where Ha Phuong used to live when she was in Vietnam, are also being cared for by the female singer this time. In addition, she also sent charity gifts to the residential area of Ward 3, District 11, the Fatherland Front Committee of District 6 (Ho Chi Minh City) and some police officers.
In addition to cash, Ha Phuong gave the people of Ho Chi Minh City gifts including: 30 tons of rice, 60 tons of sweet potatoes, 30 tons of corn, 3,500 boxes of noodles, 3,000 boxes of eggs, 12,000 boxes of fish, 3,000 bottles of fish sauce, 3,000 bottles of soy sauce. The goods were divided into 3,000 gifts, carefully packaged before being sent to households.

Singer Ha Phuong's gift boxes were brought by soldiers to give to people in Ho Chi Minh City. |
The singer did not disclose the total value of the gifts but said that she just wanted to contribute a little to the city's fight against the epidemic and hoped that people would soon overcome the difficult days due to the epidemic. Ha Phuong's biggest wish now is for everyone to be healthy and for the epidemic to pass quickly. Unable to directly deliver the gifts, the singer and her crew handed over all the goods to local representatives to distribute to people in the past 3 days.
All of Ha Phuong's charity activities are supported by her husband, billionaire Chinh Chu. The couple has been doing charity work for many years. In some rare shared photos, both are very united in their social activities.
Every time she returns home to visit her family, Ha Phuong actively does charity work. She gives gifts to people in difficult circumstances, visits poor children, and often tries to arrange time to organize charity trips. Before returning, Ha Phuong often asks her biological mother to find places that need support, arrange the schedule, and prepare gifts in advance.
Ha Phuong is the younger sister of singer Cam Ly and the older sister of singer Minh Tuyet. Having a talent for singing since childhood, Ha Phuong and her sisters used to sing on many stages in Ho Chi Minh City. Since marrying billionaire Chinh Chu in 2002, she has only appeared occasionally.
