Rare case of identical triplets in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn)- After discovering she was pregnant with triplets, Ms. Huyen was monitored and checked by doctors from the Obstetrics Department, Nghe An General Hospital.
On July 21, the Department of Obstetrics, Nghe An General Hospital announced that the pregnant woman Che Thi Huyen (21 years old) in Nghi Thu Ward, Cua Lo Town gave birth to triplets of identical girls and was discharged home. This is a rare case of triplets of identical girls, a natural pregnancy, with strict pregnancy management and a successful cesarean section at the Hospital.

Pregnant woman Che Thi Huyen was admitted to the hospital on the afternoon of July 16th, 36 weeks pregnant with triplets, experiencing abdominal pain and having contractions threatening premature birth. After examination, to ensure the safety of the mother and fetus, the doctor decided to perform a cesarean section on patient Huyen. Three baby girls weighing 2.2 kg, 2.1 kg and 1.4 kg were born healthy at 4:00 pm on July 15th.

After nearly a week of close postnatal care and monitoring, the health of mother Huyen and her three daughters has stabilized. Up to now, mother Huyen has had plenty of milk, the babies are breastfeeding well, each baby drinks 20 ml of milk at a time, 8 times a day.

This is the first birth of Che Thi Huyen and Phung The Tai after getting married in 2014.
