Rare identical triplets found in Nghe An.
(Baonghean.vn) - After discovering she was pregnant with identical triplets, Ms. Huyen was monitored and checked by doctors at the Obstetrics Department of Nghe An Friendship General Hospital.
On July 21st, the Obstetrics Department of Nghe An General Hospital announced that Che Thi Huyen (21 years old), a mother from Nghi Thu Ward, Cua Lo Town, had given birth to identical triplets and was discharged home. This was a rare case of naturally conceived identical triplets, with close pregnancy management and a successful cesarean section at the hospital.

Pregnant woman Che Thi Huyen was admitted to the hospital on the afternoon of July 16th, carrying triplets at 36 weeks, experiencing abdominal pain and contractions threatening premature birth. After examination, to ensure the safety of both the mother and the fetuses, the doctors decided to perform a cesarean section. Three baby girls, weighing 2.2 kg, 2.1 kg, and 1.4 kg respectively, were born healthy at 4 PM on July 15th.

After nearly a week of close postpartum care and monitoring, the health of mother Huyen and her three baby girls has stabilized. Currently, Huyen has plenty of milk, and the babies are feeding well, each consuming 20 ml of milk per feeding, eight times a day.

This is the first child for Che Thi Huyen and Phung The Tai, a couple who got married in 2014.

After learning she was carrying multiples, Ms. Huyen received advice from her doctor about the potential dangers during pregnancy and childbirth. Therefore, Ms. Huyen received regular check-ups and close monitoring of her pregnancy by the Obstetrics Department at Nghe An General Hospital until a safe delivery.
