"When the fish was still alive, this person offered 30 million VND but I refused to sell. When the fish died, they continued to offer 15 million VND. Because I couldn't wait any longer, I agreed to sell, whatever I could get," said Mr. Su.

For over a week, Mr. Su’s family’s life has been turned upside down after catching the rare fish. Many people flocked to see and call to bargain, plus having to guard the fish from theft, almost every night they lost sleep.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, at around 4am on March 3, while fishing on the Cam River, Mr. Dau Van Su caught a fish with a shiny golden color. Many people thought it was a rare golden croaker, so Mr. Su took it into the boat to take care of it. Many people called to offer a price, the highest was 570 million VND, but in the end, it was only sold for 15 million VND./.
