Nghe An-born singer - Sao Mai Phuong Thanh releases album on New Year's Day

(Baonghean,vn) - On January 1, 2018, Nghe An-born female singer Nguyen Phuong Thanh - second prize winner of Sao Mai folk music 2011 released the album "Nostalgia for Central Vietnam".

The album “Nostalgia for the Central Region” expresses the deep nostalgia of children far away from home for the Central region, including 9 songs: Mother's hammock, Return to my hometown, Missing the person who tapped water, the basket, the basket (a song about Uncle Ho), Return to Nghe An (a song composed by People's Artist Tien Dung - Phuong Thanh's father-in-law), Nostalgia for the Central Region (a poem by journalist Thuan Huu - Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan newspaper), Neo doi wharf que, Ve Ha Tinh nguoi oi, Dieu Vi Giam la em. This is a music product that singer Phuong Thanh planned to make 4 years ago.

The singer from Nghe An said that she always wanted to create a musical product that was different from herself. Therefore, the 9 songs in the album "Nostalgia for the Central Region" have familiar songs, strange songs, but Phuong Thanh completely renewed them with very unique arrangements. Each song is not only about nostalgia, the heart of a child far from home returning to the land, the warm and humane people of Nghe An, but also the story of the children of the Central region towards other lands.

Born and raised in Do Luong, Nghe An. With a simple style, rustic performance, warm and lyrical voice, Phuong Thanh not only conquered the contest judges when winning the second prize in folk style of Sao Mai award in 2011 but also made her mark with the award of "Most Favorite Contestant" through the number of text message votes. Phuong Thanh is currently a vocal lecturer at Hanoi University of Culture.

With a bright appearance, a sweet, technical voice imbued with the soul of Nghe An, the two albums "Finding nostalgia" and "Loi em hat" released previously received the reception of the public who love this emotional voice.

The album “Nostalgia for Central Vietnam” was released at the moment of the new year 2018 with the hope of a year with a good start for her music career.
