Singer Tuan Vy (real name Trinh Xuan Cong) is originally from Thanh Chuong, grew up in Tan Ky, Nghe An, and is currently active in music in Ho Chi Minh City. He is known as a bolero singer, the adopted son of famous singer Giao Linh, and was introduced by her as the person who later became famous singer Tuan Vu and sang well with the famous singer.

He is also known by netizens as a humorous father after posting the clip "The boy cries when hearing Nghe dialect" on his personal Facebook page, sharing the story of his "rebellious" 3-year-old son who cries whenever he hears his father speak Nghe dialect.

Returning to Nghe An after Tet, he came up with the idea of ​​carrying out a music project to introduce his hometown Nghe An with its landscapes that he said were "wonderful but few people know about".

He also shared that he wanted to sing in his hometown and sing with pride for his hometown. That idea was enthusiastically supported by Mr. Phan Xuan Hong - a friend and teacher of Tuan Vy in the early days of his career.

Working hard to earn money to raise her children, Hoan also tries to save up to reward herself with a ticket to a concert every month when her favorite singers come to Vinh to perform.

She shared: Once when she went to see singers Giao Linh and Tuan Vy perform, she boldly approached and asked to get to know singer Tuan Vy. After learning about Tuan Vy's intention to carry out a music project in her hometown, she expressed her wish to stand with her idol in his MV and was very happy when singer Tuan Vy agreed.

To make the MV “Giận mà thương”, the whole crew had to work for 4 months to come up with ideas, choose songs, record, write scripts, film, edit… Along with that, there were 2 days of tireless work at Thanh An tea island, Thanh Chuong with a crew of 6 people. In addition, they also received support for recording at musician Quoc Nam’s studio.

Sharing about this MV, singer Tuan Vy said: My forte is bolero music, but Nghe An folk songs are always in my blood. Being able to sing amidst the beautiful scenery of my hometown, singing the songs of my homeland is my pride, happiness and also something I have cherished for a long time.

My “co-star” is not a professional singer, she is just a normal girl who loves to sing, so we agreed to let her appear, to fulfill her long-standing dream. Maybe because of that, the MV is not “standard” in the professional sense, but I think in return, the sincerity and love of the singer will touch the audience’s hearts.

The song “Giận mà thương”, with the folk music of Nghe An by musician Tran Hoan, has been recorded by many singers, but Tuan Vy and Duyen Duyen also hope that it will be welcomed by readers as something new. “This is also a MV that has been invested in quite elaborately and is also one of the few MVs that I am quite satisfied with” - singer Tuan Vy said.
