Party building committees and Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Office complete organizational arrangement

Accordingly, in the past time, for the Party and mass organizations, the Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee Office continued to merge specialized departments according to the approved project including:

The Provincial Party Committee Office merged the Administrative Reception Department and the Archives Department into the Administrative - Archives Department; merged the Economic Department and the General Department into the General Department; the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department merged the Propaganda Information Department and the Office into the General Information Department.

Thus far, the Party building committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office have completed the organizational arrangement according to the decisions of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. The apparatus of the Provincial Party building committees has been reduced by 9 departments (from 32 departments to 23 departments).

Regarding the State sector, the Provincial Department of Home Affairs continues to advise the Provincial People's Committee to sign a decision to merge the Cultural - Sports Center and the District Radio - Television Station in 4 units: Quy Chau, Que Phong, Thai Hoa Town, Yen Thanh. Thus, up to now, the whole province has 14 localities implementing: Cua Lo, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu, Do Luong, Vinh City, Tan Ky, Anh Son, Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan, Nghia Dan, Quy Chau, Yen Thanh, Que Phong, Thai Hoa Town.

Recently, Pu Mat National Park reduced from 3 departments to 2 departments; Park Forest Protection Department (affiliated unit) reduced from 13 internal organizations to 12 internal organizations.

According to the approved Project, in the period of 2018 - 2021, Pu Mat National Park will reduce 1 Deputy Director, 1 head of internal organization and 6 deputy heads of internal organizations, while increasing the proportion of professional groups to over 65% by 2021.

As a result, after more than a year of implementing Project 09-DA/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Nghe An has reduced 3 branches and 24 affiliated departments, including 12 specialized departments under departments and branches; 12 departments under Party agencies and provincial-level socio-political organizations.

Specifically: Department of Agriculture and Rural Development reduces 3 branches and 2 offices; Provincial People's Council Office reduces 5 offices; Department of Education and Training reduces 2 offices; Departments of Health, Industry and Trade, and Home Affairs reduce 1 office each.

Bloc of Party and Mass Organizations: Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department reduced 3 departments, Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department and Office each reduced 2 departments; Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Labor Federation and Nghe An Newspaper each reduced 1 department; 38 public service units reduced (23 units under departments, branches, and sectors, 15 units under district-level People's Committees).

Nghe An has 23 units that have switched to the mechanism of self-ensuring regular expenditure according to the decision of the Provincial People's Committee. The State does not allocate budget for 4,396 positions.

Recently, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee has advised on the implementation of a number of contents on reorganizing the apparatus and innovating the operating mechanism of the Provincial Cadre Health Care Committee such as: Transferring the Cadre Health Care Committee (human resources, medical equipment, etc.) to the Provincial General Hospital of Friendship from June 1, 2019; organizing a delegation to supervise the implementation of Plan No. 111-KH/TU dated January 2, 2018 and Project No. 09-DA/TU dated April 18, 2018 of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on the implementation of Resolution 6 of the Central Committee (term XII) in Nam Dan district and the Department of Health.
