Pagodas in Nghe An organize many activities towards War Invalids and Martyrs Day

On July 27, representatives of the monks of Co Am Pagoda, Minh Chau Commune (Dien Chau) came to offer flowers and incense to respectfully commemorate and express their deep gratitude for the noble sacrifices of the heroic martyrs for the country at the commune's Martyrs' Cemetery. Before that, Co Am Pagoda held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Nghi Loc District's Martyrs' Cemetery.

On this occasion, Phuc Lac Pagoda (Nghi Loc) organized a ceremony to offer incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Nghi Loc District Martyrs' Cemetery, in coordination with the People's Committees of wards in Cua Lo Town to organize a prayer ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Nghi Hoa Ward and Nghi Thuy Ward Martyrs' Cemetery. Phuc Lac Pagoda and Tam Bo De Charity Association also coordinated with the Nghi Thuy Ward Youth Union to give gifts to policy families in the area.

On July 26, Hong Phuc Pagoda, Nghi Long Commune (Nghi Loc) held a memorial service for heroic martyrs at the Martyrs' Cemetery Memorial of Dien Hoa Commune, Dien Ky Commune (Dien Chau); Nghi Long Commune, Nghi Thuan Commune (Nghi Loc).

In Vinh City, the Executive Committee of the City Buddhist Sangha and monks residing at Diec Pagoda respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the City Martyrs Cemetery.

Huong Sen Buddhist Monastery - Duc Hau Pagoda, Nghi Duc Commune organized a grand prayer ceremony and lit candles to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Nghi Duc Commune Martyrs Cemetery (Vinh City), Martyrs Memorial House in Hung Nguyen Town, Hung Tan Commune Martyrs Cemetery (Hung Nguyen) and Truong Son Martyrs Cemetery, Quang Tri Province.

In Nam Dan district, monks and Buddhists of Dai Tue pagoda offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Martyrs' Monument of Nam Anh commune and the Martyrs' Cemetery of Nam Dan district. Vinh Phuc pagoda, Nam Xuan commune held a grand ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the town's martyrs' memorial and offered incense and flowers at the district's martyrs' memorial.

At the same time, in Quynh Luu district, Lam Son pagoda, Quynh Yen commune, Yen Thai pagoda, Son Hai commune... also held memorial services and prayers for the heroic martyrs who died for the country and compatriots who died at the Martyrs' Cemetery of the communes.

At martyrs' cemeteries, pagodas organize flower offering, incense offering, requiem, memorial, candle lighting ceremonies... according to Buddhist rituals with the spirit of gratitude, gratitude, and respectful remembrance of heroic martyrs and predecessors who sacrificed themselves for the homeland and country.

These are activities with humanistic meaning, demonstrating the Buddhist and Vietnamese people's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", expressing gratitude and remembrance of heroic martyrs, outstanding children who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland.
