Former US Presidents Comment on the Assassination of Trump's Close Ally
The assassination of Mr Trump's closest ally has shocked the US. Previous presidents have affirmed that "there is no place for this kind of violence".

According to RIA Novosti on September 11, former US President Joe Biden responded to the murder of American politician and activist Charlie Kirk by making a statement on social network X that there is no place for violence in the US.
"There is no place for this kind of violence in our country. It must end immediately. Our prayers are with Charlie Kirk's family and loved ones," former US President Joe Biden wrote.
Early morning of September 11 (Vietnam time), famous American political activist Charlie Kirk, 31 years old, considered a close ally of US President Donald Trump, was killed in an assassination attempt while giving a speech on the campus of Utah Valley University.
Immediately after the incident, US President Donald Trump spoke about the incident from the Oval Office, expressing sadness and outrage at the incident. The US leader affirmed that Mr. Kirk was an inspiration to millions of people and everyone was shocked by the assassination.
CNN commented that the murder of Charlie Kirk is a tragedy for all Americans. And the risk is that the murder of America's young politician will cause unpredictable consequences in a country that is facing an angry picture and is facing a divided political era.
Former US President George W. Bush, in a rare statement, outlined the dangers facing the nation after Mr. Kirk was shot by an unknown assailant.
“Today, a young man was brutally murdered while expressing his political views,” Bush wrote. “It happened on a college campus where the open exchange of opposing ideas should be sacred. Violence and vitriol must be banished from the public square.”
