Chefs flee British royal family

At the same time, 14 kitchen staff immediately quit their jobs at the British royal palace. According to culinary experts, the reason for such a "mass exodus" is because of unbearable workload.

Among those who left were chefs, waiters and other representatives of the culinary profession. It was reported that they regularly had to travel between Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace, participating in events organized by Prince Charles, as well as Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton. However, the royal family does not have a system of overtime pay, — the Sun newspaper writes.

With at least seven experienced royal chefs leaving the royal kitchen, it won't be easy to find replacements. The royal kitchen has a total of 40 permanent chefs.

Royal representatives have denied reports of mass kitchen staff quitting, saying it was just a routine rotation.
