(Baonghean.vn) - On October 18, many localities in the province organized the handover of "charity houses", gratitude houses, and gifts to poor households and poor students who have overcome difficulties.

In Quynh Luu,The District Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with Quynh Doi commune to present a solidarity house to Ms. Truong Thi Hue's family in village 2, Quynh Doi commune.

Ms. Truong Thi Hue is a single woman with a 6-year-old child and lives with her mother who is over 70 years old. Ms. Hue herself is seriously ill and unable to work.

For many years, her family has lived in an old, dilapidated house. The district Fatherland Front Committee, together with the Party Committee, the government, local organizations, neighbors and relatives have supported the family to build a solid house to stabilize their lives.

After more than 2 months of construction, her family has a 3-room tiled roof house with an area of ​​56m2.2has been completed and put into use, with a total cost of 175 million VND (of which the Fund for the Poor of Quynh Luu district supported 70 million VND, and relatives supported 100 million VND).

On this occasion, local departments, branches, organizations and villages also presented meaningful gifts to support the family./.

* On the same day, the Women's Union of Quynh Luu district coordinated with Quynh Tam commune to organize the handover of the "Warm House of Love" house to the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Hai in village 6, Quynh Tam commune.

Dinh Thi Hai’s family is poor, her husband is seriously ill and she is raising a small child. The whole family lives in a cramped, makeshift, and seriously degraded house.

The Women's Union of Quynh Tam commune mobilized its members to support 11.5 million VND, and the district's fund for the poor supported 10 million VND to build a charity house. After nearly 3 months of construction, the 3-room house, with a total value of 140 million VND, has been completed and put into use.

At the handover ceremony, the local government and organizations also presented meaningful gifts to encourage her family to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and escape poverty sustainably.

Also on the morning of October 18, the Women's Union of Quynh Luu district coordinated with Quynh Tam commune to hand over a breeding cow to Ms. Bui Thi Nhung (village 1), worth 11.5 million VND. Ms. Nhung's family is also poor, her husband died early, and she herself is raising a small child.

To Van Vinh's family is poor, both husband and wife are often sick, the children are still young; they do not have the means to repair the house.

The Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Dan town has supported his family with 10 million VND. With this support, along with the help of benefactors, relatives and neighbors in the block, his family will be able to repair the house and have a decent place to live to stabilize their lives.
