Localities and units enthusiastically respond to the Tree Planting Festival

* On the morning of February 11, in the atmosphere of celebrating the glorious Party and the Spring of the Year of the Pig 2019, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee,Military Region 4 Commandorganized the launching ceremony of "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" at the relic site of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan's tomb, Nam Giang commune, Nam Dan district.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Major General Nguyen Doan Anh - Commander of the Military Region; Major General Tran Vo Dung - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Military Region; comrades in the Party Standing Committee, the Military Region Command together with heads, officers and employees of agencies, departments and offices of the Military Region; officers and soldiers of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, Division 324, Engineering Brigade 414, Information Brigade 80, Air Defense Brigade 283.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Doan Anh - Commander of Military Region 4 requested Party committees and leaders of agencies and units to widely propagate in many forms to a large number of officers, soldiers and people about the purpose and meaning of the Tree Planting Festival. Each officer and soldier in the Military Region 4's armed forces should strive to compete and enthusiastically participate in tree planting; actively participate in forest planting, forest protection, and prevent illegal logging, forest burning, and forest exploitation...

Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates and officers and soldiers of agencies and units planted 60 Bauhinia trees and took care of and cleaned the green tree system in the grounds of the Hoang Thi Loan tomb relic site.

On the occasion of the Spring Tree Planting Festival 2019, the entire Military Region 4 planted over 130,505 trees of all kinds, including 14,315 fruit trees and 116,190 timber trees.

* Morning of February 11,Nghe An Provincial Policeorganized the launching ceremony of "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho" in 2019 at the headquarters of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police of the Provincial Police.

This is a meaningful activity responding to the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, thereby propagating and educating to raise awareness among officers and soldiers about planting and protecting trees, protecting the ecological environment and combating climate change.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Ho Sy Tuan - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department called on all officers and soldiers of the units to participate in the movement with practical actions such as planting trees and cleaning the barracks, contributing to building a cultural and exemplary unit in accordance with the Public Security Regulations; and at the same time, continue to take good care of the trees that each unit has planted in previous years.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the leaders of the Provincial Police Department together with officers and soldiers planted 67 mango trees in the premises of the Provincial Police Department's Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Headquarters.

Responding to President Ho Chi Minh's call for "Tree Planting Festival", over the past 60 years, Tree Planting Festival has truly become a beautiful cultural feature of early Spring, creating a widespread influence at all levels, sectors, agencies, units and all classes of people in Vinh City.

Identifying that planting trees in early spring has profound significance for social life, every year this movement in Yen Thanh district is actively participated in by all 39 communes, towns, agencies, units and schools; achieving many important results, increasing forest cover to 34%.

Quynh Trang -Dang Tri

* Morning of February 11,Dien Chau districtalso organized the launching ceremony of the Tree Planting Festival "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" Spring Ky Hoi 2019.

The launching ceremony of the Spring Tree Planting Festival in Dien Chau district was held at the district stadium and Dien Thanh beach. Immediately after the opening ceremony, officials and people of Dien Chau planted 225 ancient trees and shade trees; including 150 black star trees, 40 acacia trees, 20 flower-shaped trees and 15 coconut trees.

Responding to the launching ceremony of the tree planting festival "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" in 2019, the whole district strives to plant 350 hectares of new forest.

Hong Hanh

* Morning of February 11, 2019 (7th day of Lunar New Year), at Quynh Hong Secondary School,Quynh Luu districtorganized the launching ceremony of the Tree Planting Festival "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" Spring Ky Hoi 2019.

Planting trees in early spring is a meaningful activity carried out annually by Quynh Luu district, aiming to propagate and educate awareness of protecting and developing forest capital, contributing to increasing water resources, mitigating natural disasters and floods, improving the environment... In 2019, the whole district strives to plant 25,000 new trees of all kinds, of which the spring crop alone associated with the Tree Planting Festival, the whole district will plant 55,000 new trees.

After the launching ceremony, Quynh Luu district planted hundreds of black star, purple lagerstroemia, dracontomelon, cajuput trees... in the campus of Quynh Hong Secondary School and the road leading to Quynh Hong Garment Factory.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, agencies, units, communes and towns in the area, along with union members, youth and people of Nam Anh commune simultaneously planted 80 flower-paved trees on Highway 539.
