(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, localities and units in the province organized many activities to celebrate the full moon festival for children of officials and employees, as well as children with special circumstances.

On the evening of September 23rd,Provincial Military CommandIn coordination with the Vietnam-Germany Children's Cultural Center, we organized a "Mid-Autumn Festival Night" for the children of officers and employees of the Provincial Military Command.

At the ceremony, children from the Vietnam-Germany Children's Cultural Center and the children of officers and staff of the Provincial Military Command presented various artistic performances, puppet shows, and special skits introducing the origins of the Mid-Autumn Festival, creating a joyful and warm atmosphere.

Colonel Ha Tan Tien, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Commander of the Provincial Military Command, presented Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to outstanding students.

On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command awarded more than 160 scholarships from the scholarship fund to children of officers and employees of the Provincial Military Command for their high academic achievements, and also organized a gathering and presented gifts to children of officers, professional soldiers, and defense employees in the unit on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2015.

The musical evening unfolded amidst the excitement and joy of the children. Through songs, music, and heartfelt sharing, the members of the group brought the children a warm and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival.

Ms. Phan Van Anh, representative of the Green Dream Club, shared: “This is an annual activity of the club. In addition to the music night, we also have 55 gift packages including clothes, cakes, milk, towels... Each gift package is worth 200,000 VND. This money was raised from collecting scrap metal and selling potatoes to support people in the South by club members and contributions from some benefactors to bring orphaned and disabled children a happy Mid-Autumn Festival.”
