Localities and units organize Mid-Autumn Festival 2015

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, localities and units in the province have organized many Mid-Autumn Festival activities for children of officials, employees and children in special circumstances.

At the ceremony, children from the Viet Duc Children's Cultural House and children of officers and employees of the Provincial Military Command brought performances, puppetry, and special scenes introducing the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival, creating a joyful and warm atmosphere.

Colonel Ha Tan Tien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, presented Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to excellent students.

On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command awarded more than 160 gifts from the scholarship fund to children of officers and employees of the Provincial Military Command for their outstanding achievements in studying and organized a meeting and presented gifts to children of officers, professional soldiers, and defense workers in the unit on the occasion of the 2015 Mid-Autumn Festival.

Ms. Phan Van Anh, representative of the Green Dream Club, shared: “This is an annual activity of the Club. In addition to the music night, we also have 55 gifts including clothes, cakes, milk, towels... Each gift is worth 200,000 VND. This is the amount of money raised from collecting scrap metal, selling potatoes to support the people of the South by the Club members and contributions from some benefactors to bring orphans and disabled children a happy Mid-Autumn Festival.”
