Localities give gifts to the poor on the occasion of Dinh Dau Tet

(Baonghean.vn) -On January 11, organizations and units organized gift giving to poor students who have overcome difficulties to study well, and to families with especially difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Dinh Dau New Year.

Responding to the appeal letter to support the poor to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2017 of the Provincial Party Secretary, the Department of Justice mobilized donations from all cadres, civil servants and public employees, each at least one day's salary to support the poor to celebrate Tet.

Leaders of the Department of Justice give gifts to poor households in Thanh Son commune

The Department leaders coordinated with the agencies' organizations to visit, meet and hand over warm Spring gifts to poor and disadvantaged households in Thanh Son commune (Thanh Chuong). The total number of gifts given during Tet includes 10 breeding goats and 30 gifts along with warm clothes. The total value is nearly 40 million VND.

The practical activities of the civil servants of Nghe An Department of Justice have contributed to helping the poor in Thanh Son commune warmly celebrate Tet.

In order to support cows for poor and disadvantaged households in the district to have a warm Dinh Dau New Year, the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Nghia Dan District gave 20 bicycles to 20 disabled students from poor households in the district.

Support money to buy cows for poor households with disabilities

On this occasion, the Association also presented 4 breeding cows, each worth 10 million VND to 4 families in Nghia Yen and Nghia Hoi communes; and 10 gifts to the Blind Association. The total amount was worth more than 75 million VND, which was taken from the Fund for the Support of Disabled People and Orphans in Nghia Dan District.

On this occasion, Duc Tai - Tam Dat enterprise gave 25 gifts worth 500,000 VND/gift to 25 poor households, helping poor families have a warmer Tet holiday.
