Disease prevention and environmental sanitation have been focused on and implemented effectively, with basically no epidemics occurring in the past 5 years. Communes and towns have paid attention to promoting environmental sanitation and disease prevention. National target programs for immunization of children under 12 months of age have achieved high rates and no complications. The rate of malnutrition under 5 years of age has decreased from 19.05% in 2010 to 14.03% currently. The rate of children taking Vitamin A and pregnant women receiving tetanus vaccine has reached 100%.

With the continuous efforts in the past time, at the ceremony, Quynh Luu District General Hospital was awarded the ISO 9001 - 2008 certificate, 3 communes including Quynh Doi, Quynh Lam, Quynh Dien were awarded the Certificate of meeting national criteria on healthcare in 2014./.
