* On April 1st and 2nd, 2015, the Party Committee of the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Post, Nghe An Border Guard Command, held its 3rd Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term. Colonel Nguyen Van Tuy, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command, attended and directed the congress. Also present were the Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committees under the Provincial Border Guard Command Party Committee.

During the past term, the Party Committee of the Nậm Cắn International Border Gate Border Guard Post organized and led the unit in thoroughly understanding and implementing the policies, directives, resolutions, orders, and plans of higher authorities regarding border guard work. They proactively monitored the situation both domestically and internationally, advising the Party Committee, the Provincial Border Guard Command, and the Kỳ Sơn District Party Committee and People's Committee on policies and solutions for managing and protecting border sovereignty and security, and maintaining social order and safety in the assigned area. They improved their ability to grasp the situation, analyze and evaluate information promptly to serve border protection plans and area management. They proactively coordinated with relevant agencies at the border gate in carrying out their duties and effectively managed immigration and emigration in the border region.

In close coordination with forces stationed in the area, they intensified patrols and controls to firmly protect border sovereignty and security, maintaining political stability in the border region; organized 17 border patrol and control operations with 170 officers, soldiers, and militia members participating. Completed immigration and border crossing procedures for dozens of people, vehicles, and goods passing through border gates. During the discussions at the congress, delegates also assessed the strengths, weaknesses, existing limitations, and solutions for overcoming them in the future.

* On April 1st and 2nd, the Standing Committee of the Division Party Committee directed the Party Committee of Battalion 15 (324th Division) to hold its Congress for the 2015-2020 term. This unit was selected by the Standing Committee of the Division Party Committee to hold a model grassroots-level Congress to draw lessons for the entire Division.

The presidium and the secretariat were introduced to the congress.

During the past term, the Party Committee of Battalion 15 successfully led the completion of the goals and targets set forth in the Party Congress Resolution. The overall quality, level, and combat readiness of the battalion have been enhanced, enabling it to successfully complete its missions in any situation. The morale of officers and soldiers remains stable, and they are ready to receive and successfully complete their assigned tasks. Youth union activities and youth movements have received close leadership and guidance. Logistics and financial support have been consistently maintained and developed. In addition, the Battalion Party Committee has invested thousands of man-days and nearly 215 million VND to build and reinforce training grounds, repair and renovate 3,091 target boards, models, and training aids.
