* In accordance with the training and combat readiness orders of the Commander of Military Region 4, on March 2-3, 2015, the 324th Division conducted exercises to transition to various states of combat readiness for the Division headquarters and its subordinate units.

Over a period of nearly two days, units of the 324th Division carried out the steps and plans as set out, namely: transitioning from a state of normal readiness to a state of high combat readiness; from a state of high combat readiness to a state of full combat readiness; and implementing a plan for troop movement and organizing the troop movement from the regular command post to the secret assembly area.

During the training process, the Yen Thanh District Military Command issued orders to change the combat readiness status, including: shifting the armed forces from a regular state of combat readiness to a heightened state; advising on the locality to enter a state of emergency regarding national defense and security; shifting the combat readiness status of the armed forces from a heightened state to full readiness; advising on the locality to transition to wartime; and practicing the relocation of the District Military Command headquarters to a simulated base area to prepare for combat operations.

This training session helps commanders of agencies and units understand the sequence and content of the steps in transitioning to combat readiness, and practice the sequence and actions of each individual and agency thoroughly. Through this, timely lessons are learned to improve the quality of combat readiness transition training for agencies and units in implementing the defense posture and combat readiness to protect the Fatherland in the new situation; to enhance the command and control capabilities of officers at all levels, and the ability to coordinate and cooperate between commanders, agencies, and units in organizing, preparing, and executing the transition to combat readiness of the district's armed forces.
