Leaders and former leaders of the Party, State and Nghe An province offered incense in memory at Truong Bon.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of October 29, before the art program "Truong Bon - Legendary Epic", leaders, former leaders of the Party, State, the program's organizing committee, and leaders of Nghe An province respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Truong Bon National Historical Site.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Truong Tan Sang - former Politburo member, former President; Nguyen Sinh Hung - former Politburo member, former Chairman of the National Assembly; Uong Chu Luu - Chairman of the Vietnam Peace Committee, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Comrades of the Party Central Committee: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Education; Le Quoc Minh - Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Tran Sy Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee; Nguyen Dinh Trung - Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee.
Also attending were comrades: Thuan Huu - former member of the Party Central Committee, former Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, former Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, former President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Bui Quang Huy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. Along with comrades representing leaders of departments, ministries, branches, central agencies, leaders of provinces, cities and delegates also attended the ceremony.

On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of departments, branches and localities.
Truong Bon - a sacred land, a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism, where the blood of comrades and compatriots was shed in the long march to liberate the nation and unify the country.

The place bears the footprints of hundreds of thousands of young men who fought passionately along Truong Son to save the country; the girls and boys who brought their eighteen and twenty years of age into the war, they entered danger with all their optimism, desire to live and responsibility for the country.
