On October 6 and 7, youth from units under the Nghe An Border Guard coordinated with local Youth Union members to mobilize hundreds of working days to organize activities to help local people in many diverse, practical and effective ways.

Youth of Na Loi Border PostCoordinated with Na Loi Commune Youth Union and Na Khuong Village Management Board to clear the border patrol road, repair and rebuild the bridge over the stream in Na Khuong Village, helping people conveniently travel and harvest crops in Na Loi Commune, Ky Son District.

Youth of Dien Thanh Border PostCoordinated with Dien Thanh Commune Youth Union, Dien Chau District to clean up and collect garbage on the coastal road from the Station to Lach Van Border Control Station, over 1km long.

Youth of Tam Quang Border StationCoordinate with local people in border villages of Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district to harvest summer-autumn rice and clean up the village.

The above activities not only ensure environmental hygiene, keep the landscape green, clean and beautiful, but also create cohesion between the youth of the units and the Youth Union members in the area, further strengthening the solidarity relationship between the army and the people.

More than 200 Youth Union members from Tan An, Tan Huong, Nghia Dong communes (Tan Ky)Green Sunday volunteer campaign with rich and diverse activities.

The Youth Union members enthusiastically participated and successfully completed the proposed plan, such as: The Youth Union of Tan An commune organized a car wash to raise funds to help poor students. The Youth Union of Tan Huong commune mobilized to clean up and dig up the soil on both sides of the road to plant flowers with a length of more than 300m; The Youth Union of Nghia Dong commune mobilized to build a 50m long mural road and mobilized and donated clothes to the charity closet to help people in difficult circumstances.

The activities demonstrated the volunteer spirit of Tan Ky district youth in participating in volunteer activities for the community.

Mobilization Committee of the Fund for the Poor in Ky Son Commune, Tan Ky Districthas just given 10 breeding goats to 5 poor households with especially difficult circumstances in the commune. Each household was supported with 2 goats with an amount of 3 million VND, the total value of this donation is 15 million VND. Along with being supported with livestock, poor households are also guided by professional staff on the care process, how to prevent and control diseases for goats.

Supporting livestock for poor households in Ky Son commune aims to help households develop livestock farming, increase income, and gradually escape poverty sustainably.

On the morning of October 7, more than 35 members of the Youth Union of Nghia Loc Commune (Nghia Dan) organized a car wash to raise funds to support poor students to overcome difficulties. This "special" car wash accepts washing all types of vehicles, with a price of 15,000 VND/cycle for motorbikes and 40,000 VND/cycle for cars.

Although they are not professional car washers, with the enthusiasm of youth, the union members and young people work quite thoughtfully and thoroughly. In the morning, many people in the area and neighboring areas joined in responding to the activities of the commune's youth; many people not only participated in the car wash service but also volunteered to contribute to the Youth Union fund.

After the morning, the members collected more than 2.2 million VND including car wash fees and donations from the people.

This is a new and creative way to raise charity funds to help students in difficult circumstances. At the same time, it demonstrates the pioneering and voluntary role of the Youth Union in caring for the poor and children in difficult circumstances in Nghia Dan district./.
