Union member Cut Van Kham works at Ban Canh Hydropower Plant, Ta Ca Commune, Ky Son District. In 2018, after a flash flood caused by Storm No. 3, his family's house was completely swept away. In that situation, the Ky Son District Labor Federation supported 40 million VND to help Cut Van Kham's family build a new house.
This amount is taken from the "Union Shelter" Fund of the Provincial Federation of Labor as part of the "Workers' Month" activities in 2019, to share some of the difficulties so that union members' families can have stable homes, gradually overcome difficulties and feel secure in their work.

In particular, in the scorching hot weather of the past few days, these free ice and water boxes have appeared more and more on the streets, helping many workers and students quench their thirst. On average, more than 10 20-liter water boxes are used up every day.
The free water tanks are carefully prepared by benefactors, ensuring hygiene and the water and ice have clear origins. Every day, from 6:30 am, water tanks are available on the roads. Hopefully, in the near future, there will be many free water tanks like the one in Thai Hoa town to cool the hearts of poor workers.
