Coaches of Song Lam Nghe An youth football training center will soon receive salary in 2025

Afternoon of January 21, at the ClubLam River Nghe An, Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center held a conference to summarize the work in 2024 and deploy directions and tasks for 2025.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Hoang Van Phuc - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports; Mr. Ho Le Duc - General Director of Song Lam Nghe An Sports Joint Stock Company; Mr. Tran Quang Dung - Director of Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center.

Many young people won medals

Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center currently has 27 coaches. Including: 1 Pro coach; 7 A coaches; 12 B coaches and 5 C coaches. In addition, there are: 2 coaches with Master's degrees, 8 coaches with University degrees and 1 coach with College degrees.

The Center is currently training 200 professional soccer athletes by age group in the following classes: U10; U11; U12; U13; U14; U15; U17; U18; U19 and U21.

In 2024, the Center will compete in all 7 tournaments organized by the Vietnam Football Federation and win 1 set of medals. Specifically: U13 Song Lam Nghe An won the Gold Medal at the 2024 National Youth Tournament; U9 won the Silver Medal at the National U9 Tournament and U19 won the Bronze Medal at the National U19 Tournament.

In addition, the Center has provided 10 athletes to Song Lam Nghe An Team 1. In addition, 12 athletes have participated in the national youth team from U17 to U20 Vietnam.

Also last year, after receiving information from the media about suspected age fraud of young players at U11 and U13 tournaments, the center sent a dispatch requesting the Nghe An Department of Justice and Nghe An PA03 to compare and re-check the real ages of the athletes.

After the review process, the Center discovered 15 Athletes with incorrect information beyond their actual age. Players with poor physique and weak skills were liquidated after the end of the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year. The remaining athletes, after returning to the correct age and still meeting the physical and professional requirements, will be arranged by the center to return to classes according to their actual age.

Towards 2025, Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center continues to invest in developing youth football and the system of tournaments for age groups organized by the Vietnam Football Federation; improving the quality of athletes to provide good resources for professional football tournaments, while ensuring stability in the number of participating athletes.

Promote international integration, enhance exchanges and cooperation with international football organizations and federations to gain support for players to exchange, learn and accumulate more experience. Maximize support from FIFA and AFC through targeted programs in youth football training.

Focus on improving achievements for youth tournaments, especially investing in developing young talents to create a successor resource, supplementing the Song Lam Nghe An Team 1 and the National Team. Promote coordination and support from the Vietnam Football Federation for professional tournaments.

Salary scheme for coaches will be arranged soon.

Before the report and mission direction presented by the center, Mr. Ho Le Duc - General Director of Song Lam Nghe An Sports Joint Stock Company committed that next year he would propose that Sponsor Tan Long invest in building new and renovating the system of facilities and playgrounds, creating the best conditions for athletes and coaches in training and competition.

The head of Song Lam Nghe An emphasized the important role of the coaching staff at the Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center, asking them to uphold their sense of responsibility and devote themselves to training. The goal of this effort is to create players who not only have excellent skills but also good moral qualities.

Mr. Ho Le Duc hopes that the center will build a professional youth football training environment, focusing not only on technical aspects but also on personality development, in order to maintain the position of Nghe An youth football in the Vietnamese football village and contribute to the overall development of the country's football.

Attending and directing the conference, Mr. Hoang Van Phuc - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports highly appreciated the achievements of Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center in the past year.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports affirmed that this year, he will coordinate with relevant agencies and Song Lam Nghe An to soon resolve the regime for coaches participating in coaching at the Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center. This is a practical encouragement, helping coaches feel secure in dedicating themselves to the cause of developing youth football.

In addition, Mr. Hoang Van Phuc also suggested that the Center should continue to strictly control the age of athletes when participating in youth tournaments. Even in cases where players have valid documents, if there is a suspicion of age discrepancy, they should not be allowed to compete.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An expressed his hope that the Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center will continue to maintain its position as one of the leading youth football training centers in Vietnam.
