In Que Phong district, heavy rains caused landslides at 16 locations, isolating 13 villages and flooding dozens of houses. In Quy Hop, Quy Chau, and Ky Son districts, floodwaters in rivers and streams caused localized flooding of some bridges…

In response to the situation, the police and border guard forces promptly deployed personnel and implemented plans to help people overcome the consequences of the heavy rain; they organized awareness campaigns and encouraged people to evacuate to ensure the safety of their lives and property. In addition, the forces went to each house to assist people in relocating their belongings and livestock; placed warning signs and barriers in dangerous areas; and cleared roads blocked by trees and debris.
