* On November 1, comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director and a delegation of officials from the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province visited the family of Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, an officer of the Provincial Sports and Physical Training Service Competition Center.(unit under the Department)has a son named Nguyen Anh Phu, 3 years old, with leukemia.

It is known that Phu was diagnosed with the disease in June 2018, and since then has been mainly treated at the oncology department of the National Children's Hospital. Each month, the family spends tens of millions of dong on food, accommodation, and travel to take care of and treat him.

The family’s main source of income has always been Phu’s mother who sells groceries. But since he got sick, both his parents had to quit their jobs to go to Hanoi to take care of him, so the family’s finances are very difficult.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 30 million VND donated by officials and civil servants of the Department of Culture and Sports to support the family in providing more conditions for the child's treatment.

*On the afternoon of October 31, Vietnam Children's FundCoordinated with the Command Board of Mon Son Border Post (Con Cuong) to directly go to schools and community cultural houses in Ban Bung and Ban Co to give nearly 500kg of clothes and 2 televisions to people and students in Dan Lai village.

The gifts given to the children and local people this time were voluntarily contributed by officers and soldiers of Mon Son Border Guard Station to help local people, as well as poor students who overcome difficulties to study well in the border area of ​​Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district.

It is known that the Vietnam Children's Fund is supporting over 2 billion VND to build a semi-boarding cafeteria for students at Mon Son Secondary School; with a total cost of over 2 billion VND. The project is being urgently completed, in order to create favorable conditions for food and accommodation for 60 Dan Lai students.

*On November 1, Tri Le Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to organize the donation of breeding pigs to poor households under the coordination program between Nghe An Farmers' Association and the Provincial Border Guard Command on raising local sows to provide breeding pigs for people in the western border area of ​​the province.

This time, Tri Le Border Guard Station gave 20 breeding pigs to 10 disadvantaged households in Tri Le commune. Each household received 2 pigs, weighing from 10 to 15 kg. According to Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thanh Minh, Head of Tri Le Border Guard Station: Along with giving breeding pigs, the unit also assigned officers and soldiers to inspect and guide households on technical procedures for raising, caring for, and preventing and controlling diseases, ensuring that the pigs grow and develop well.

On October 31 and November 1, teachers and parents in Mai Son commune (Tuong Duong) contributed labor and materials to repair the kitchen and playground for the main school in Huoi Xa village, part of Mai Son border commune Kindergarten.

In addition to the cement supported by the new rural source, all materials including sand and gravel were carried from the stream by more than 30 parents and teachers of the school.
