International journalists give advice to Nghe An tourism industry

On the morning of September 8, Nghe An Department of Tourism organized a seminar “Nghe An Tourism with International Press” to introduce more about local tourism, and at the same time receive comments from the international press delegation who came to survey tourism products and services. Attending the seminar were leaders of Con Cuong and Nam Dan districts.

Giving comments to Nghe An tourism industry, international journalists have highly appreciated the natural landscapes, traditional cultural values, location and traffic infrastructure of Nghe An. Mr. Kreis Werner - journalist from the Federal Republic of Germany said: Nghe An is very suitable for organizing 3-day 2-night discovery tours with groups of about 80 people or less. He himself will write and introduce these special destinations.

De Rupanjana, an Indian journalist, said: Indians often travel to Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Vietnam has every opportunity to attract Indian tourists. I appreciate the scenery and cuisine in Nghe An. As an editor of the magazine, I will try to inspire people about Nghe An tourism.
De Rupanjana believes that monuments and scenic spots need to have multilingual signs and warnings so that everyone can understand them. Local tourism workers need to be trained to communicate in English because foreign tourists also need to ask questions and understand more about the culture and many other things of the locality.

Meanwhile, Kim Seok Moo, a Korean journalist, suggested: In Vietnam, Da Nang is a destination chosen by many Korean tourists because of its beautiful scenery and cheap prices. Nghe An needs to have measures to attract and exploit the Vinh - Da Nang flight route to bring Korean tourists to its locality.

Ms. Mamonova Olga, a Russian journalist, said: Vietnam is an attractive destination for Russian tourists. Every year, the rate of Russian tourists coming to Vietnam increases by 6-7%. The advantage of Russian tourists when coming to Vietnam is that they do not need a passport. To attract Russian tourists, Nghe An should develop more types of nature-cultural exploration tourism, family tourism and small group tourism.
