Since 4am, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Lan and 5 other members of the kitchen have been at the exam school to prepare breakfast for more than 200 candidates, volunteers and some parents who are staying at the school dormitory. The menu for the exam day, although more carefully prepared, is not much different from the usual menu with beef stew sandwiches and vermicelli. At nearly 5:30am, students started to go down to the dining room. Seeing the candidates eating deliciously with happy faces, she and the other serving sisters felt relieved of a worry.

Sharing more about her work, Ms. Lan said: During the exam days, we often serve meals according to the students' wishes. On the first day, the students requested sticky rice with beans. On the second day, the pressure was "lighter" so we cooked a dish with broth so that the students could eat lightly but still ensure nutrition. The students have been eating here for 3 years, so we know each student's personality and preferences very well.

LIVEProvincial Ethnic Minority High School, Ms. Huong Lan and the other sisters in the kitchen are called "mom" by the children. They themselves also consider their children as family members. On normal days, with a diet of only 38,000 VND/child/day, the sisters have to weigh and measure to have the most complete and nutritious meals. But on exam days, with the same amount of money, the sisters have to think even harder, hoping that after each meal, the students will see the hearts of the teachers and service staff in the school.

To increase the students' food rations, before the exam day, the school also received additional funding from some benefactors, so the organization of meals for the candidates was more thoughtful and complete, with shrimp, chicken, and meat.

In addition to the breakfast for the second day of the exam, today is also a special day for the school's cooking team because this afternoon, the students will have their last school lunch. This afternoon, after the final exam, the classes will have a party and some students will also go back to their villages...

Before the final exam day, although feeling very reluctant, the candidates at the provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities still tried to hide their emotions to save the best "energy" for the important exams. Taking the opportunity to reread the exam paper before the exam, student Ngo Thom - living in Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district said: I was not really satisfied with the two exams yesterday, in which Literature is my university entrance exam subject but I think I only got close to 9 points. I did okay in Math so I hope to get more than 6 points.

Before this exam, Thom had also applied for admission to Van Lang University and received an admission notice. However, Thom's goal was the Academy of Journalism and Communication and the Multimedia Communication major of Thang Long University, so she was determined on the last exam day, including 2 important subjects that she used for university admission, which were History and Geography.

Talking about her wishes, Thom added: I am hoping that I will get 28.5 points in this exam, so I hope that the exam will cover all the parts that I have studied. In addition, the exam will be within our ability and reach.

Student Tran Minh Phap - living in Tuong Duong district is also aiming to enter the University of Science and Technology with the Aoo group (Math - Physics - Chemistry). Yesterday, Phap finished the Math exam but was not really satisfied because he got an easy-to-get-point question wrong. Although he was very regretful, Phap did not think much about the exam to save his energy for the last two exams.

Sharing about this, Phap added: The first 40 questions of yesterday's Math test were not too difficult for me. However, I was a bit hasty, wanting to do it quickly to save time for the following questions, which led to unnecessary mistakes. That is an experience for me in today's exam. I hope that today I will do better, promoting my advantages in Chemistry and Physics. I also hope that the exam will have good differentiation to be fair to all candidates.

To create the best mentality for the candidates, before the last day of the exam, the Provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities spent 5 minutes gathering the candidates and reminding them to follow the exam regulations, checking their belongings and encouraging and motivating students to try to "overcome the pass" successfully. Among the candidates of the school, some students have parents coming down to accompany their children, but to create the best mentality and avoid their children being distracted, most parents choose to stay outside the school.

Candidate Bui Thi Van Anh has entered the exam room, but her mother is still waiting outside the school gate. In her arms is her youngest daughter, only 4 years old. She probably woke up early with her mother and sister to take the exam, so the little girl fell asleep despite the intense heat outside. “Since Tet, she has only been home once during the April 30 holiday. The rest of the time, she said she was at school to focus on studying for the exam. Even when the exam was close, she did not use the phone, only called home to inform her parents that her health was normal,” said Van Anh’s mother.

She added that although she lives far away, she still keeps track of her child's academic performance. During the mock exams, the school reports the scores to the parents. In the most recent mock exams, her daughter always scored among the top in the school. During the official exam, she took a bus to Vinh city to encourage, support and help her daughter do the test with peace of mind.

On the last day of the exam, the officers on duty at the exam site still carried out their assigned tasks with the same familiar procedures as on previous exam days. However, today, after the incidentsuspected of missing the examIn the two subjects of Math and Literature, the work of ensuring safety, seriousness, and preventing cheating in the exam is given more attention by the exam sites. On the side of the staff, the direct exam supervisors also check the candidates more carefully before they enter the exam room.
