On the afternoon of August 25, at the Forward Command Center (Nghe An province), Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha continued to chair a meeting with the Government Office, the Department of Hydrometeorology, and provinces and cities to direct the response to storm No. 5.

URGENT STORM NEWS: Storm No. 5 with level 16 gusts, moving straight into the mainland provinces from Thanh Hoa to Quang Tri

According to the urgent storm bulletin issued at 4:30 p.m. on August 24 by the Nghe An Province Hydrometeorological Station, storm No. 5 is moving rapidly in a westerly direction with the strongest winds near the storm center at level 13-14 (134-166 km/h), gusting to level 16, and is likely to strengthen further.
The Provincial People's Committee listened to and gave opinions on the Draft Project "Comprehensive cooperation between Nghe An province and provinces of the Lao PDR for the period 2025 - 2030"

On the afternoon of August 18, Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a working session to listen to and give opinions on the Draft Project "Comprehensive cooperation between Nghe An province and provinces of the Lao PDR for the period 2025 - 2030 and the following years".
