Many top universities are planning for enrollment in 2021, and some solutions have been proposed to reduce dependence on high school graduation exam results.

A representative of Hanoi Medical University also said that converting the high school graduation exam will take many years and cannot be done immediately.
As for Hanoi Medical University, in 2021, enrollment will basically remain the same as in 2020 and will mainly be based on the results of the high school graduation exam.
InForeign Trade University, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vice Principal of the school also supports the plan to maintain stable enrollment methods, especially using high school graduation exam results.
“In 2021, Foreign Trade University will continue to use high school graduation exam results for admission with a quota of about 50%. In addition, the school will exercise its autonomy in admission through other admission methods,” said Ms. Thuy.

Regarding the issue of enrollment, a representative of Danang University proposed that the Ministry of Education and Training should maintain the difficulty of the exam questions over the years, to avoid the phenomenon of a large difference in average high school graduation exam scores between years.
