To continue implementing the School Milk program to improve nutritional status and contribute to improving the stature of preschool and primary school children by 2020 of the Prime Minister, in early 2018, the Provincial People's Committee approved the project to implement the School Milk program for preschool and primary school students in the period 2018 - 2020.
Recently, the Department of Health has also issued bidding documents for the supply of school milk for preschool and primary school students in Nghe An province for the period 2018 - 2020, worth more than 1,600 billion VND. While waiting for the bidding, the Provincial People's Committee also allowed the unit supplying school milk in the previous period to continue implementing the program for schools in Nghe An province. However, due to many difficulties in the implementation process, many localities have not implemented it.
After receiving the official dispatch from the Department of Education and Training, from March 1, many schools in the province have started to re-implement the School Milk program. However, many school leaders also hope that the bidding will be carried out soon to make it easier for schools to implement and to suit the interests and ages of students.
