Billionaires reveal habits that keep you 'from getting rich'
Like everything in life, success and wealth do not come easily. To own a large amount of assets, many people have had to make significant changes from their thinking to their daily habits.
CNCB interviewed self-made billionaires and came up with the habits that are holding you back from success.
Don't spend money on yourself first
According to self-made billionaire and bestselling author David Bach, spending money on yourself is one of the habits that will help you accumulate more money. Simply put, before you pay bills, buy groceries, or do anything else, set aside a portion of your income. That money, you can deposit into a savings account or retirement fund, is completely for you.

Just rely on basic salary
Many people are paid by the hour or a fixed monthly salary. Meanwhile, wealthy people are paid based on performance and often have multiple streams of income.
“You can’t get rich by focusing on just one source of income. Start with your current salary, work hard to get a raise, invest or take on a side job to increase your current amount of money,” said Grant Cardone, who was once in debt before becoming worth millions of dollars.
Not receiving a fair salary
“How much money you make now is a huge part of your future wealth potential. Unfortunately, most of us work very hard but are not paid accordingly,” says self-made millionaire Grant Sabatier.
The easiest way to increase your income is to ask for a raise. Be tactful in presenting the value you bring to the company. Your request will be easily approved.
Urging to get rich
Legendary investor Warren Buffet once said: “Good things often come late. The same goes for getting rich, don’t rush.” The golden rule of investing is to think long-term. The most successful investors like Buffett often speculate and wait for profits.
“First of all, you should choose a good company to invest in. Money will grow over a long period of time. Normally, companies will achieve success in about 10-30 years from now,” he shared.

Believe that success only comes to lucky people
“If you think you can't get rich, you won't get rich,” says self-made billionaire Steve Siebold.
“The biggest thing that prevents people from being successful is their mindset, their ideas about money. Rich people often find solutions in difficult situations. They know that is the secret to success. You should practice thinking this way, then turn your thoughts into actions,” he said.
