The Queen of England's unique way of choosing clothes every day
Staff will bring drawings and fabric samples every morning for Queen Elizabeth II to decide what to wear, instead of her choosing the outfit herself.
After decades of attending ceremonies, official events and tours, the Queen knows exactly what to wear for different occasions. She always chooses bright colors to stand out the most. "I could never wear beige because then no one would know who I am," the Queen said.

According to former royal butler Paul Burrell, the Queen has a rather "unusual" way of choosing outfits. Interviewed by The Royal Box onYahoo"They would have to bring her outfits down because all the Queen's clothes were kept upstairs," Paul said. "The Queen's dresser would bring down two sketches in the morning, along with fabric samples so the Queen could remember whether the outfit was silk, cotton or wool."
The Queen's designated outfit is then actually brought down from upstairs, meaning Elizabeth II never has to stand in front of her vast wardrobe to choose it herself.
The 93-year-old Queen still wears some of her favorites over and over again, as do many other royals, including the Duchess of Cambridge. One item she has used for 50 years is her Launer handbag.
The Queen of England carries this black handbag on most royal duties, welcoming presidents and other important events. The Launer bag even made a surprise appearance in a portrait of the Queen last year.
