How to make chicken patties for Tet, delicious and irresistible
Nem cha is a delicious and indispensable dish on the Tet holiday tray of Vietnamese people. If traditional nem cha dishes are no longer attractive enough, you should try making chicken cha. This is a new dish, rich in flavor, sweet meat, very delicious to eat, surely everyone will "love" it.
Ingredients for making chicken patties:
- 500gr boneless lean chicken; 1 onion; 50gr fresh shiitake mushrooms; Tapioca starch; Half a garlic bulb; Fresh coriander, cucumber; Seasoning powder, cooking oil, pepper.
How to make chicken patties:
- Step 1 (preparing ingredients): Wash and chop the chicken. Peel the onion, wash it and chop it finely. Wash the shiitake mushrooms, soak them in hot water until they expand, then wash them again with clean water. Let the mushrooms drain and then chop them finely. Peel the garlic, wash it, drain it and then chop it finely.
- Step 2: Put the pan on the stove, add a little cooking oil. When the oil boils, add garlic and saute until fragrant. Then, add onion, stir well, add shiitake mushrooms, add a little seasoning. Stir for another 3 minutes then turn off the stove.
- Step 3: Mix the minced chicken with 3 tablespoons of tapioca starch and pepper, mix well. Then add the stir-fried mushrooms, mix well so that all the ingredients are well blended. Then, shape the chicken mixture into small, even balls and place them on a tray.
- Step 4: When the chicken is ready, put a pan on the stove, add oil and heat it up. When the oil boils, add the chicken to fry. When frying, remember to flip both sides of the patty so that the chicken is cooked evenly and has an attractive color. Be careful not to use too much heat, as this will cause the chicken patty to be undercooked and not look good on the outside.
