How to clean condensation inside headlights
With just a few simple steps, the condensation inside the headlights will be cleared.
If condensation appears inside the headlight and there is no obvious crack or damage, the problem may be with the gasket, seal, or drain hole. Even if the lens is removed and dried, the problem is likely to recur unless all parts are replaced. If you notice a lot of water in the headlight, the easiest way to clean it is to drill a very small hole in the bottom of the headlight so the water can drain. If it is just condensation, the following methods may help.

Tools needed:
Silica Gel, headlight removal tool (see vehicle owner's manual), and lint-free cloth.
Steps to clean condensation:
1. Follow your vehicle owner's manual to access the headlight assembly. This is usually done by opening the front hood and gradually removing the rear of the headlight assembly or removing the bulbs inside the headlight.
2. Use a lint-free cloth to wipe moisture from inside the headlight lens. If you cannot reach inside the headlight assembly, you can skip this step.
3. Drop a packet of silica gel inside the lens assembly. Make sure the gel does not come into contact with the bulb.
4. Reinstall the headlights.

Silica is non-toxic and non-flammable. Any type of silica gel can be used. It is often found in new product packaging and is often found in a desiccant packet labeled "DO NOT EAT". Make sure that the gel does not come into direct contact with the bulbs. If there is not enough space to pour the gel into the bottom of the headlight assembly without coming into contact with the bulb, do not do it. The silica gel will absorb up to 40% of its weight in water. This will take care of most of the condensation in the lens. However, this will not completely solve the problem. The most effective way to fix this problem is to replace the gaskets, seals, apply silica gel to all the grooves of the headlight assembly, or replace it with a new one.
