Quarantine and medical declaration for 2 illegal immigrants in Nghe An border area
(Baonghean.vn) - While trying to illegally enter Vietnam from Laos, two people were discovered by the Thong Thu Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) and taken to quarantine according to regulations.
On August 9, in the border belt area of Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district, the force on duty to prevent Covid-19 epidemic at Thong Thu Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) promptly discovered 02 people trying to illegally enter Vietnam from Laos.

They are: Lo Van Binh, born in 1981, a worker for Trung Son Hydropower Company and Ngan Thi Minh, born in 1992, a cook for a road construction company in Sam To district, Hua Phan province (Laos). Both are originally from Thong Thu commune.
According to initial statements, these people were freelance workers who, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, had no jobs and so tried to illegally cross the border to Vietnam to avoid quarantine.
