Ingredient:
- Cherry syrup: 1 cup fresh/chilled cherries, pitted; 2-3 tablespoons honey.
- Soda: ice, 3/4 cup ginger beer (a type of carbonated soft drink with ginger flavor), 2-4 tablespoons cherry syrup, about 30-60ml vodka, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, cherry for decoration.
Making:
Make cherry syrup: Put cherries and honey in a small saucepan, using a spoon/fork to mash the cherries. Add 1 cup of water to the saucepan and bring to a boil.
When the mixture boils, stir well for about 5 minutes, turn off the heat. Use a sieve to filter the mixture, then let it cool for about 30 minutes. You can store the syrup in the refrigerator for at least 1 week.
Make the soda: Fill a glass with ice, add ginger beer, cherry syrup, vodka, and lemon juice. Stir, garnish with 1-2 cherries and thyme (if using) and enjoy!
2. Ginger lemon tea:
Ingredient
- 3 black tea bags
- 1 liter of hot water, 2 cups of ice
- 1 lemon, thickly sliced, 3 - 5 kumquats
- Syrup: 2 lemongrass stalks (only take the white core inside, cut about 5 cm), 1 large ginger stalk (clean, slice about 3mm thick), 1 1/2 small bowls of filtered water, 1/2 small bowl of sugar.

Making:
Take a medium glass jar, put the tea bag in hot water. Let it steep until cool, remove the tea bag and put it in the refrigerator to cool.
Use a small pot to make the syrup. Add lemongrass and ginger to the pot of water. Boil over medium heat until the water reduces to 1/2 cup. Add sugar and stir well. Turn off the heat and let cool.

Making:
Use a large pitcher to make the drink. Add 12 lemon slices, 16 cucumber slices, and 4 mint leaves to the pitcher. Add lemon juice and sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Then, add the soda water and stir well.
