How to calculate salary and allowances from July 1
The Ministry of Home Affairs has just issued Circular 04/2019/TT-BNV guiding the implementation of basic salary levels for salary and allowance recipients in agencies, organizations and public service units of the Party and State.

*Salary calculation formula: Salary equals base salary multiplied by current salary coefficient.
*Formula for calculating allowance level: Allowance level is equal to the basic salary multiplied by the current allowance coefficient. For allowances calculated as a percentage of the current salary plus the leadership position allowance and seniority allowance exceeding the framework (if any): the salary allowance level is equal to the salary plus the leadership position allowance plus the seniority allowance exceeding the framework multiplied by the percentage of allowance enjoyed according to regulations. For allowances specified in a specific amount of money, keep the same according to current regulations.
*Formula for calculating the amount of the reserve difference coefficient (if any): The amount of the reserve difference coefficient is equal to the basic salary multiplied by the reserve difference coefficient.
The Circular takes effect from July 15.
