The right way to steam to relieve colds at home

How to steam:
- The patient takes off his clothes, covers himself with a blanket and the steam pot. Steam potplace in front of the person performing the ritual.
Keep your head tilted to one side to avoid the hot steam hitting your face.Use chopsticks to slowly open the pot of water to let the steam escape, making sure the heat is at a bearable level. You can use chopsticks to part the leaves to let the steam escape.
- Stop steaming when your whole body is sweating. Steaming time is usually 10-20 minutes.
- Wipe off sweat with a clean dry towel and wear clean clothes.
- Drink a hot glass of water (tea, sugar, lemon...).
Some things to note:
- This therapy is not applicable to people who sweat a lot, are dehydrated, have lost a lot of blood, are dizzy, or cannot control their behavior such as the elderly, confused, or people with Parkinson's disease...
- Do not use for people with serious illnesses, pregnant women, children under 12 years old.
- Be careful of burns while steaming.
