After arguing after drinking, husband kills wife and then stabs police officer seriously

On the evening of August 3, Phu My Town Police in coordination with professional units of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police completed the crime scene investigation, autopsy, and investigation of the murder case that left one person dead.

The suspect is Phan Minh Hoang (born in 1987, residing in group 1, Phuoc Tan hamlet, Tan Hoa commune, Phu My town), the victim's husband.

According to initial information, at around 4pm, after coming home from drinking, Hoang had an accident.conflict, argued with his wife, Ms. NTĐ (born 1982).

During the argument, Hoang held two Thai knives in his hands, threatened Ms. D., then forced her to the ground and cut her neck. There, when Ms. D. begged and called for help, Hoang suddenly stabbed her in the abdomen, causing the victim to die on the spot.

Upon discovering the incident, the locals immediately reported it to the local police. About 15 minutes later, Tan Hoa commune police officers arrived at the scene and fired warning shots, demanding that Hoang drop his weapon, but Hoang refused to comply and instead stabbed a police officer, injuring him.

Then, Hoang used a knife to stab himself in the stomach to commit suicide, but the police force controlled and arrested him.

People living near the victim's house said that Hoang worked as a bricklayer and Ms. D. worked as a factory worker. The couple often argued every day.

At the time of the incident, many neighbors heard Ms. D. screaming for help, but no one dared to stop her because Hoang was holding a weapon in his hand and was very aggressive.

It is known that Hoang and Ms. D. have 2 children together. Before coming to Hoang, Ms. D. had 4 children from her own life.

Currently, the authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify the case.
