Vehicles are prohibited from crossing Cua Hoi Bridge from 6am on August 25.
Due to the impact of storm No. 5, authorities decided to ban people and vehicles from crossing Cua Hoi bridge, connecting Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces, from 6:00 a.m. on August 25.
On August 24, the Department of Construction of Ha Tinh issued Official Dispatch No. 4340/TB-SXD on temporarily suspending traffic on the Cua Hoi bridge project, responding to incidents and natural disasters caused by storm No. 5.

Accordingly, to ensure safety for people and vehicles passing through the Cua Hoi bridge (crossing the Lam river, connecting Ha Tinh and Nghe An provinces); Ha Tinh Department of Construction requests to temporarily suspend traffic for people and all vehicles passing through Cua Hoi bridge (except for priority vehicles according to regulations and vehicles serving incident and natural disaster response of competent authorities) from6:00 AM August 25, 2025until the bridge is safe to cross according to regulations.
Assign the unit to manage and regularly maintain the Cua Hoi bridge project (Joint Stock Company 487): Organize the implementation of barriers, arrange warning and 24/7 vigilance at the barrier locations to ensure safety, comply with current regulations; organize warnings and remote traffic control (at the intersections at both ends of the project); absolutely do not allow people and vehicles to cross the bridge in dangerous weather conditions.

Nghe An Department of Construction said that the unit has received a document from Ha Tinh Department of Construction and has directed forces and units to coordinate to disseminate this information to people as well as assign forces to be on duty on Cua Hoi bridge, not allowing people to travel during the time affected by storm No. 5 to ensure safety.
According to forecasts, storm No. 5 will directly affect the Nghe An - Ha Tinh area, bringing strong winds and heavy rain, posing many potential safety risks to coastal routes, including Cua Hoi bridge.
