Pawned neighbor's motorbike to get money to take care of wife giving birth

Dien Chau District Police have just initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained Nguyen Van Buoi to investigate the act of Abuse of trust to appropriate property.
Previously, at 5:00 p.m. on March 15, Nguyen Van Buoi (23 years old), residing in Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district, went to Mr. Le Van Tam's house (living in the same hamlet) to borrow a motorbike to go to work. However, after borrowing the motorbike, Buoi did not return it but informed the owner that he had pawned it. After trying to contact Buoi for a long time without success, Mr. Tam had to file a complaint with the authorities.

After receiving the citizen's report, the Working Group of the General Investigation Team of Dien Chau District Police conducted an investigation, verification, and coordinated with Dien Ngoc Commune Police to persuade Buoi to surrender. On March 27, Buoi went to the police station to surrender his crime.
At the police station, Buoi confessed that he initially intended to borrow the motorbike to go to work. However, after borrowing it for more than an hour, he received a phone call from his wife saying that she was about to give birth at a hospital in Thanh Hoa province. Having no money on him, Buoi pawned Mr. Tam's motorbike for 4 million VND to get money to take a taxi to take care of his wife's delivery./.
