“On the occasion of the 132nd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday, our school organized a field trip for students to visit Uncle Ho’s hometown. From a few days ago, the children were excited and looking forward to the departure day, because they would witness with their own eyes the house of Uncle Ho’s family, and see thesouvenirsattached to Uncle Ho's childhood. As for me, since I was a child, I have visited Uncle Ho's hometown many times, some years I visit 2-3 times. But every time I step foot inKim Lien Special National MonumentI always feel moved and nostalgic. “I was born and raised inNam Dan, the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of the Vietnamese people. When I came of age, following the sacred call, I set out on a mission to protect the Fatherland. Having fulfilled my duty, I stayed to live and work in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province.

Although far away, my homeland is always in my heart, always present in my mind and in every breath. Every year, in May, on the occasion of Uncle Ho's birthday, my family and I return to our hometown to visit our relatives and friends, and also to visit the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, offer fresh flowers and burn incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.

Ms. Le Thi Diem Trinh - Tourist from Long An: "Deeply engraved with gratitude"

“This is the first time I have made a pilgrimage to visit Uncle Ho's hometown. Seeing the countryside scenery where Uncle Ho was born and raised, I am truly happy and moved. I am happy because I have set foot on the land of Nghe An, a land of talented people and sacred land, the birthplace of many heroes and heroes who sacrificed themselves and fought for national independence, the most typical of which is President Ho Chi Minh. I am moved because the space and artifacts are still preserved intact, reminding me of Uncle Ho's childhood years.
