Camera captures 'ghost train' entering station in China

Seeing the images recorded by the surveillance camera installed in the station with his own eyes, a long-time railway employee here was extremely frightened.

According toThe Sun, the video was filmed at Baotou City Railway Station, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on March 10, showing the shadow of a train approaching the platform and then stopping.

The "ghost train" is said to have entered the station and apparently stopped to pick up and drop off passengers. Headlights and carriages can even be seen as the "ghost train" moves. When a station security officer was monitoring the surveillance camera, he discovered it and jumped in fear.

The employee has worked at the station for 12 years and has never seen anything like it before. He also expressed hope that he will never see it again.

The video was posted online four days after it was recorded and has been viewed tens of thousands of times. Netizens have left a number of theories below. Some were surprised by the supernatural phenomenon, while others were skeptical. One person wrote: "To me it just looks like a reflection in a window glass." Another added: "Maybe it's a duplicate parallel universe."
