Cadres, Party members and people welcome the resolute direction of the Central Committee.

That demonstrates the determination to “match words with actions” through concrete actions. At the same time, the people are also looking forward to the Resolution that will be issued to restore discipline in the Party.

In Resolution 3 of the 10th Central Committee, Resolution 4 of the 11th Central Committee, and now Resolution 4 of the 12th Central Committee, we have all focused on the issue of Party building.

That affirms the Central Committee's determination to step up the fight against degradation within the Party and build a truly clean and strong Party, and build a contingent of Party members worthy of the Party's trust and prestige in leading the people and leading the cause of innovation.

Mr. Pham Manh Hung (Nghia Do ward, Cau Giay district, Hanoi) said: The Party has made very frank comments when stating that: the degradation of political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle has both objective and subjective causes, in which subjective causes are the main ones, originating from the lack of self-cultivation and training of cadres and party members themselves; unstable ideological stance; falling into individualism, forgetting responsibilities and duties to the Party and the people.

"I think one of the reasons why the Party building work is not done well is that the moral qualities of Party members are not strengthened and not trained. The negative aspects of the market economy are individualism, selfish lifestyle, profiteering, chasing after money, craving for fame, title, and power. That is what causes party members to degenerate if they do not have a stance, courage, and cultivate their political ideals.”

President Ho Chi Minh emphasized: “The Party has no other interests than the interests of the people” and “The Party must lead by example”. Expectations for innovation and the birth of the Resolution are timely. However, each Party organization, each cadre and Party member, first of all senior cadres, key cadres, heads of all levels and sectors must deeply and fully understand their responsibilities to the people and the Party in order to voluntarily carry them out.
