(Baonghean.vn) - In preparation for the 10th session of the 13th National Assembly, on the afternoon of September 30th, in Dien Ky commune, Dien Chau district, Mr. Pham Van Tan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province - met with representatives of voters from four communes: Dien Ky, Dien Hong, Dien Thap, and Dien Xuan.

Attending the meeting were representatives from several provincial departments and agencies; and representatives from the Dien Chau District Party Committee, People's Council, and Fatherland Front Committee.

Mr. Pham Van Tan, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, reported to the voters on the planned agenda for the 10th session of the 13th National Assembly.

Representatives from the District Party Committee, District People's Council, District People's Committee, and District Fatherland Front Committee attended the meeting with voters by the National Assembly representative.

Entering the meeting, on behalf of the National Assembly delegates in constituency No. 5, Mr. Pham Van Tan reported to the voters of Dien Chau on the time and some important issues that will be discussed and developed at the upcoming session. Specifically, there will be 19 issues related to lawmaking, with opinions and approval of 29 draft laws; a report evaluating the results of implementing socio-economic programs and objectives in 2015; approval of socio-economic targets for 2016; results of the implementation of the state budget estimates for 2015 and 2016 and the period 2015-2020… In addition to the above contents, at this session, the National Assembly will establish and announce the National Election Council for the 14th term; and hear and give opinions on questions regarding several other important issues.

Representatives of voters from Hamlet 7, Dien Ky Commune, have requested the revocation of the stalled project for the Dien Ky Commune Commercial and Service Complex.

Representatives of voters from Hamlet 4, Dien Thap Commune, proposed that land and resources be allocated to build a kindergarten so that children under 4 years old can receive education.

Based on suggestions from National Assembly representatives, representatives of voters in Dien Chau district submitted over 20 proposals to the National Assembly. Specifically, voters in Dien Ky district proposed that the Dien Ky Commercial Complex project, invested by Tam Tri Manh Company, has acquired tens of hectares of land from residents, but the land has been allocated for over 5 years without being developed, leaving it fallow while residents lack land for production, representing a significant waste of land resources; the median strip on National Highway 1A passing through Dien Ky is too long, causing difficulties for people's travel and trade, and despite numerous requests, it has not been resolved or adjusted; the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 1A is a large project, but the quality of the road after handover is too low, with many sections in Dien Chau district experiencing severe subsidence.

Dien Thap commune has achieved the New Rural Area standard but lacks a kindergarten for children to attend; there is currently a great demand for preschool education for children aged 2 to 4, but the school facilities are inadequate; Dien Ky commune needs to be more proactive and decisive in organizing the issuance of land use right certificates for land already sold to the people; the recent national university entrance exam was not fair due to lax examinations in some areas, with average and low-scoring candidates having high scores; the admission process and announcement of cut-off scores by one school were slow…

Mr. Pham Van Tan, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, provided explanations and responses to the suggestions and concerns of voters in Dien Chau.

After listening to the voters' opinions, on behalf of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Pham Van Tan acknowledged and accepted them; at the same time, he assigned some issues to the Standing Committee of the Dien Chau District Party Committee and the Dien Chau District People's Council for consideration and resolution to answer the voters; issues within the authority of the National Assembly and the province will be compiled by the Office of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and reported to the National Assembly; issues within the authority of the provincial level will be forwarded to the relevant agencies for consideration and resolution.
