Street Triple is a mid-range naked-bike generation developed by Triumph for those who are new to riding or want to own a bike with an engine that has just enough power, not too strong but still has the ability to move flexibly.
Street Triple has a total of 4 versions including: S, R Low, RS and R, in which the S version is the lowest version. Street Triple S has dimensions of 2,065 (length) x 1,060 mm (height), a wheelbase of 1,410 mm, and an impressive dry weight of only 166 kg. That is, it is nearly 20 kg lighter than its competitor in the same segment, the Ducati Monster 797. In terms of design, the front of the Street Triple S impresses with its dual headlights with a unique shape that has created a characteristic and become a special identification point of the Street Triple line. Along with that is an upside-down shock absorber (Up side Down), with a travel of 110 mm and 120/70-ZR17 tires.
Meanwhile, at the rear, the vehicle uses a monoshock with a travel of up to 124 mm and 180/55-ZR17 tires. In addition, the seat height is only 810 mm, quite reasonable for most Vietnamese people's physique. The vehicle's fuel tank has a capacity of 17.4 liters.
Since it is only the standard version, the Street Triple S only has two riding modes: Rain and Road. In terms of safety equipment, the front wheel is equipped with a pair of Nissin 4-piston brake calipers with 2 brake discs and at the rear, the vehicle has a single disc brake with Brembo brake calipers.
This model is also equipped by Triumph with an ABS anti-lock braking system to help control the vehicle when running in slippery road conditions easier and safer. These two features have become standard for all current Triumph models.
In addition, Street Triple S is also equipped with Triumph Traction Control system.
On higher-end versions such as R and RS, customers will be provided with a series of "top-notch" equipment such as Ohlins front/rear shock absorbers, Brembo brakes, a 5-inch multi-color central display screen. In addition, the vehicle's driving mechanism has 5 modes including: Road, Rain, Sport, Rider Programmable and Track, with an increased capacity of 123 horsepower.
The Trimph Street Triple S is powered by a 12-valve, liquid-cooled, inline 3-cylinder DOHC engine. This engine produces 113 horsepower at 11,250 rpm and 73 Nm of torque at 9,100 rpm. Power is transmitted to the wheels via a 6-speed gearbox and chain.
Currently, Triumph Street Triple is officially distributed with 4 versions, in which the standard S version is sold at a price of 350 million VND.
