According to the Newspaper, in recent days, many people passing through the Bac Lieu ornamental flower market area (located on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Ward 1, Bac Lieu City, Bac Lieu Province) were surprised to see a 90-year-old apricot tree, dozens of meters high, with an extremely wide canopy, blooming apricot flowers with a beautiful yellow color being displayed here.
This apricot tree is being sold by its owner, Mr. Nguyen Bao Toan (40 years old; residing in Chau Hung town, Vinh Loi district, Bac Lieu province) for 1 billion VND.

According to Mr. Toan, he bought this apricot tree from a gardener in Bac Lieu province about a year ago. Based on his more than 10 years of experience in caring for apricot trees, Mr. Toan believes that this apricot tree is about 90 years old.
The mai tree has the shape of a pine tree, 7 m high, 9 m wide and 1.2 m wide; each flower blooms with 6-10 petals. This is the oldest mai tree that Mr. Toan has ever owned and is most satisfied with.

Through observation, from the base of the tree up, Mr. Toan divided it into pine branches, curving in an ancient style. The base and trunk are larger than a meter with many bumps and curves bearing the traces of time, looking very beautiful.
