According to a report from the leadership of Nghe An Tea Investment and Development Company Limited, there are currently three policies applied to tea cultivation: price support for new LDP1 and LDP2 tea varieties; support for land preparation costs; and support for the construction of small-scale irrigation systems for tea plants through well drilling or the deployment of mobile pumps. Implementing this policy, the company has prepared land and seedlings for planting 137 hectares; and supported the construction of 14 wells and 19 mobile pumps. This policy has had a positive impact in encouraging tea growers to expand their acreage and invest in intensive farming to increase productivity. Tea growers benefit fully from this policy, while the company provides support for implementation costs, paperwork, and planting techniques.

| Mr. Ho Viet An, General Director of Nghe An Tea Investment and Development Company Limited, believes that a more comprehensive policy is needed for tea cultivation. |
However, the funding allocated through the company only covers 65 hectares, while the company has already prepared the land and propagated tea seedlings for planting 137 hectares, and tea growers are continuing to register to plant another 40 hectares to replace tea plants that died during the recent heatwave. On the other hand, the need for small-scale irrigation systems to water the tea plants is very high, with some enterprises registering for 180 mobile pumps.
Based on practical experience, the company proposes that the province should supplement its support plan to adequately meet the company's needs for new tea planting in 2015, totaling over 170 hectares. In particular, to achieve the goal of stabilizing 10,000 hectares of tea plantations and shifting investment from extensive to intensive cultivation, improving efficiency per unit area in accordance with the spirit of the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2015-2020, the company recommends a more comprehensive policy for tea cultivation.

Acknowledging the challenges in implementing the policy, the working group of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council also requested the company to continue improving its communication efforts, bringing the policy to the people, and paying attention to the support process. They also urged increased inspection and supervision, coordination with relevant agencies to supplement plans and allocate funds promptly for effective policy implementation. Furthermore, they requested proactive review, supplementation, and development of support plans to successfully implement the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2015-2020, regarding tea cultivation.
