(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 11th, in Nghia Long commune, Provincial People's Council representatives including Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training; and Mr. Phan The Phuong, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Dan district, Nghia Dan district constituency, along with other district People's Council representatives, met with voters in Nghia Long commune.

Opening the meeting, on behalf of the Provincial People's Council Delegation, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son informed the voters of Nghia Long commune about the time, content, and planned program of the 11th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council; summarized the situation of implementing socio-economic development tasks in Nghe An province in the first six months of the year, tasks and solutions for the last six months of the year, and suggested some topics for voters to discuss and propose to the Provincial People's Council. Following this, the Nghia Dan District People's Council representatives also informed the voters about some key aspects of the upcoming session and the socio-economic situation of Nghia Dan district.

Voters in Nghia Long commune petitioned the provincial and district People's Council representatives on issues related to socio-cultural matters and policies for commune and village officials, such as: the inadequate benefits and obligations for village health workers; a request for staffing for Party committee offices to ensure equality and efficiency in work; the issue of delayed participation in social insurance for workers at Toan Cau Joint Stock Company; difficulties in merging Long Nghia Secondary School in terms of infrastructure to improve teaching quality; regarding environmental issues: residents petitioned about the environmental pollution caused by TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company during its production process, affecting their lives; and in the economic field: regulating VAT for businesses in the area to ensure fairness with the local government's responsibility in the operation of businesses; regulating the percentage of land use rights auctions to provide a reasonable source of funding for rural development, especially for communes aiming to achieve the 2015 target...
