Regarding the situation of suspended projects, slow-progressing projects, affecting the investment environment, causing frustration among the people, voter Nguyen Dinh Hoe reflected: Recently, voters have been excited about the policy of improving the investment environment, creating favorable conditions for businesses and investors to enter the locality. However, what people are worried about is that many investment projects are ineffective, mainly land speculation. Up to now, in the town, there are projects that have been "shelved" for decades.
“People hope that the investment project will contribute to the economic restructuring and create jobs for workers. We request that the province and the town pay attention and resolutely recover and handle slow-progressing and suspended projects, and pay attention to tightening land use planning,” said voter Nguyen Dinh Hoe.
Responding to the voters' petition, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Lo town, Mr. Doan Tien Dung said: The People's Committee of Nghe An province has decided to terminate operations, revoke investment certificates, reclaim land and cancel legal documents related to 13 projects in the province, including projects in Cua Lo town.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Lo town affirmed: The town is aware that the responsibility belongs first and foremost to the town, reporting monthly to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on the progress of project implementation in the area.
"The province is preparing to establish a team to inspect slow-progressing projects in the area. For the town, we will focus on implementing the province's direction to recover slow-progressing projects," said Mr. Dung.
