(Baonghean) - Continuing the program of meeting with voters after the 9th session of the 13th National Assembly, on the afternoon of July 1st, delegates Tran Van Hang - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly; and Nguyen Thi Hai - teacher at Ky Tan Primary School, Tan Ky district, held a meeting with voters in Nghia Phuc commune, Tan Ky district.

After hearing Comrade Tran Van Hang announce the results of the 9th session of the 13th National Assembly, voters in Nghia Phuc commune made several recommendations directly related to the socio-economic life of the country as well as the locality.

Among the issues discussed, electricity and transportation infrastructure were of particular concern to many voters. Accordingly, many voters agreed that for public works projects, the role of community oversight should be further promoted to ensure the quality of the projects, better serving the lives of the people and avoiding wasted investment capital.

Furthermore, voters believe that while the Party and State have paid attention to the fight against corruption in recent times, it needs to be carried out thoroughly; the work of implementing policies and regulations for war veterans and the elderly needs to be improved. The training and job placement for rural laborers still have many shortcomings.

During the meeting with voters, Comrade Tran Van Hang took the time to discuss and explain some proposals and suggestions from voters in Nghia Phuc commune. Regarding issues beyond his authority, he promised to forward them to the relevant levels and sectors for consideration and resolution in the near future.
